M O O N S C A P E:  A new collection of wearable art

The universe is fascinating. I know I'm in good company with my obsession.
I have been dreaming about nebulae like the Pillars of creation since I was a teenager. Recently I discovered that Saturn has about 82 known moons and they are so diverse in their beauty. That got my creative juices flowing. With this collection of porcelain earrings I'm able to marry my love of outer space, colour and texture.

There are different kinds of aesthetics. The great thing is that there's something for everyone.

Some like things clean, smooth and modern. Others like things kitsch.
I like things perfectly imperfect. A little crack, a tear, a loose seam.
(When I was little I used to deliberately loosen the hem on my dresses just to explore what the texture of the fabric was like, much to the displeasure of my mother)

It's been sooo long....

It's been so long since I've written in this space. So much has happened during that time.
Pandemic. Check.
World Upheaval. Check.
Uncertainty. Check.

To be honest, it took me a while to get my footing in 2020. I can only imagine how things have been going for you guys. After all, the pandemic has simply added to our already existing problems. For many it just exacerbated this issues. Plus many of us have lost people that are so dear to us. That's so painful.

​I wouldn't presume to have to have the solutions to everyone's problems, but I can share what has helped me to feel better through the last year or so...
