It's been so long since I've written in this space. So much has happened during that time.
World Upheaval. Check.
To be honest, it took me a while to get my footing in 2020. I can only imagine how things have been going for you guys. After all, the pandemic has simply added to our already existing problems. For many it just exacerbated this issues. Plus many of us have lost people that are so dear to us. That's so painful.
I wouldn't presume to have to have the solutions to everyone's problems, but I can share what has helped me to feel better through the last year or so...
1. Paying attention to my spirituality
2. Exercising. To be honest, I haven't felt this good physically in a long time.
3. Forcing myself to be productive. I've tried to draw, make ceramics and take photos in the garden. It's helped me appreciate the beauty of things around me and makes me feel hopeful.
4. Reaching out to others. Showing interesting in my how my friends, family and acquaintances have been coping by means of a simple text or call has helped us all to be there for one another.
Things are up and down and we can't say exactly what the future holds with the pandemic. But being positive can certainly help us hang in there.
